Maxima informs that the fourth evolution of “Valigasp” is now available, the practical and functional kit in a case of accessories for coring dry without dust that will replace the previous “Valigasp3” version.
The new Valigasp4 will contain all the components treated with a production process called cataphoresis.
This treatment, characterized by the uniform deposition of an epoxy resin on the surface of the products, ensures both superior protection against corrosion over time and at the same time greater mechanical resistance: the result is better durability than untreated or simply powder-coated materials.
The cataphoresis also determines a homogeneous thickness on the whole component, even in the hidden areas that cannot be sprayed. Finally, it is one of the most environmentally friendly processes, as it limits the emissions of volatile organic solvents and particulate matter into the atmosphere.
The new PICE 1030 Centering Piston present in the kit was instead subjected to carbonitriding, a hardening process that is carried out on the steel at a temperature of about 775 ° C for 3/4 hours, obtaining a 0.10 / 0. 15 mm. deep cemented layer.
The treatment involves for the material, in addition to an higher toughness of the “core”, an increase in surface hardness, resistance to fatigue and wear, a superior surface capacity of resistance to specific pressures of medium intensity. The process does not produce deformations and therefore can also be performed on small diameter pieces.
Valigasp4 includes 1 rotating head M18, 2 spanners 36 and 41, centering plates (diameter 112, 122, 127, 132, 142, 152, 162, 182, 205), 2 o-rings, 2 extensions 250 mm long, 1 centering piston.
