As reported by the newspapers on newsstands on Saturday 19 June, the Annual Report, presented to credit institutions and all stakeholders, certifies the growth of the Maxima Group in 2020. Among the most significant indicators in the financial statements, attributable only to Maxima – leader of a group that also includes Sea Technology and Doctor Diamant – a net profit of more than one million euros and an EBITDA of over 24%.
These excellent financial performances have positive repercussions on corporate strategies.
In fact, during a meeting with all the Group employees – held via videoconference on Thursday 17 June – has been approved, to all internal resources, an additional bonus equal to an additional month’s salary in the form of related goods and services.
External employees and vendors, by virtue of the commitment expressed and the results achieved despite the difficulties and limitations posed by the pandemic, will be awarded the “Covid Bonus”, equal to 1500 euros net for each person, also disbursed with welfare corporate.
In order to reach the most current needs of reconciling work time and private life of its employees, it has been adopted a flexible working time system, which will be applied in all Group companies, in which each employee will be free to decide their working hours within certain time slots.
Moreover, in 2020, the Group has donated resources equal to 200,000 euros to support institutions and associations of Reggio Emilia involved in initiatives aimed at promoting sport, education, protection of the environment and the common good.
“We are entering our twentieth year of business with results that reward our entrepreneurial strategy. Despite the complexities of the current economy, we have improve all performance indicators, increase the employment level in all company areas, integrate a new company into the group, Doctor Diamant Srl, and above all we were able to gratify all our stakeholders, starting with our employees. From a corporate point of view, our investments will instead focus on the further expansion of our headquarters in Poviglio, which will reach a total area of approximately 3,000 square meters once the work is completed: from here, new employment opportunities will arise”, says Dr. Mirco Dall’Olio, President of the Group.
Therefore, results that confirm Maxima as a point of reference for its territory, in terms of production, employment and society, and which is projected onto the market as a dynamic reality ready to face further challenges.
